'Errors lead to Ideas. I had forgotten a freshly bought stock of canvas in a wagon of the Parisian Métro, at Ledru Rollin Station. On the platform a subway employee was peeling off old cardboard billboards in order to replace them with new ones. The scrap felt hard to the touch thanks to multiple layers and industrial glue. I went on to paint on a good number of those scraps in the following months, the result leading to my first London solo show, JUNKSPACE.'
