Catching on the 2000's rock revival PLAYGROUND signed on reference French indie label Catalogue - Le Village Vert ( Telepopmusik, Sporto Kantes, Autour de Lucie ) in 2003. What's your Game - Playground's debut album released in 2005 - was declared indie album of the year by French magazine Rock& Folk.
WHATS YOUR GAME was recorded analog by Daniel Presley ( GoldFrapp, Faith No More, The Breeders ) at the Paris Gang studios. Album was completed and mixed at Depeche Mode's London Bedroom studios by Dimitri Tikovoï ( Placebo, Marianne Faithfull, Blondie ).

The Lost Album is originally part of a set of dense raw funk-rock tracks such as PINKY WAS HERE the band had been dropping into their set while touring. The Material was to become follow up album on Le Village Vert/ Catalog Records.
The upending of the label left most of these songs unreleased. Tracks mostly recorded live in their Parisian rehearsal space ( Mains D’Oeuvre 2006-2008 ) are here compiled under the Lost Album alongside rare acoustic demos and rough mixes.

LOWE Remix EP Originally Released in 2008. Additional Tracks added in 2020 include remixes by VINCENT VARGAS, ZE HIVE, SESSION LEOPARD including the the Eric Chedeville LOWE NIGHTOLOGY mix. the LOWE EP marks PLAYGROUND’s foray into the inegration of electronica in their sound.

In 2009 PLAYGROUND signed a groundbreaking license deal via their own label with French Fashion powerhouse Zadig & Voltaire to record + release their final work.
Rewleased in 2010 PLAYGROUND NIGHTOLOGY is a cinematic genre defying concept album that fusions PLAYGROUND’s sound to French Touch electronica via a close collaboration with Parisian producer Eric Chédeville of Daft Punk label Crydamoure.
NIGHTOLOGY went gold in France.
