THE LOST AND LAST 6:19’ 2024

THE LOST & LAST first integrated into Firouz FarmanFarmaian’s 2024-2025 NOMADS OF PERSIA installation ( Lincoln Center NYC / Salomon Arts Gallery Tribeca ) repurposes archival imagery over dedicated music and poetry. The work derives its original material from the mythical 1925 silent documentary Grass: A Nation's Battle for Life,( which follows the migration of the Bakhtiari nomadic tribe ) overlaying paint and digital textures.
