59th VENICE BIENNALE KYRGYZ PAVILION 2022 / ISTANBUL MEDIATION BIENNALE 2023

Originally integrated as the videoscape + soundscape of Firouz FarmanFarmaian’s GATES OF TURAN installation for the Kyrgyz Pavilion on the occasion of the 59th Biennale Di Venezia SHIMMER overlays images captured during the artist’s sourcing journeys in Kyrgyzstan’s Tian Shan Range and in the city of Bishkek along with an aerial sequence captured in the Yssik Kol lake, unveiling an artistic abstract taster of his upcoming docufilm PATH.
